I started AuditorA Home Inspection to give people across Greater Vancouver an inspector who shows up prepared, explains findings clearly and puts the client first.

I am licensed by Consumer Protection BC under licence #89931, and I am a member of the Home Inspectors Association BC. Consumer Protection BC is the provincial licensing authority for home inspectors. HIABC is the professional association whose Scope of Inspection my inspections follow.

I carry both errors and omissions insurance and commercial general liability insurance on every inspection.

A home is one of the largest financial decisions most people make. My role is to give you clear, practical inspection findings so you can make that decision with a better understanding of the property.

Every inspection follows the same approach: methodical, careful and clearly communicated before, during and after. You are welcome to attend and ask questions as we go, and most clients find that is where they learn the most about the property.

I serve clients throughout Vancouver, Burnaby, North and West Vancouver, Richmond, Coquitlam, Surrey and the wider Lower Mainland.

Equipment I Use

Home inspections are visual and non-invasive. Equipment is used to support that visual inspection, not to replace it.

  • Electrical testing equipment for accessible outlets and components
  • Moisture measurement where conditions indicate it is appropriate
  • Ladder access for roof and elevated areas where safe to do so
  • Inspection lighting for attics, crawl spaces and enclosed areas
  • Digital photography to document findings for your report
Infrared camera. An infrared camera may be used at the inspector’s discretion as a supplementary screening tool when conditions make its use appropriate. Infrared observations are not a full thermographic assessment and do not guarantee the detection of concealed moisture, insulation deficiencies, electrical problems or other hidden conditions. Any relevant observation will be interpreted in context and reported with appropriate limitations.
